“這是我的表白- 抒情版 Acoustic” (My Confession - Acoustic)  is a mellow and earnest tune that encapsulates the complexities of building up to a confession of love; the excitement, the anxiety and the risks that comes with being forthcoming and truthful about your feelings. Written following Marcus’ experience on being a guest on a Chinese dating show, both the original and acoustic versions of  “這是我的表白” focuses on the innocence of an exciting new love. This acoustic release embraces the heart of the song’s message; that the best way to express love is to be honest and straight-forward.

抒情版的《這是我的表白》是一首即柔和卻又能完整地概括表白時的種種心情，其中包括表白前讓人如坐針氈的焦慮感，表白時小鹿亂撞的興奮感，以及表白後令人忐忑不安的心情。俊緯參加了相親節目後，從節目中找到靈感並寫了這首歌。《這是我的表白》原版和抒情版都敘述著一段剛萌芽的感情。發行抒情版的原因是為了讓大家更瞭解這首歌的含義，俊緯認爲表白的最佳方式就是排除各種各樣的噱頭，然後簡簡單單地和對方表明心意。
