With the rough seas ahead, Annette Lee’s highly-anticipated EP, ‘Song For The Underdog’ offers a series of empowering tunes to lift the spirits of all who might feel downtrodden. The EP is the culmination of nearly two years of work in and outside of the studio, from music production to the writing and filming of an entire YouTube web-series inspired by this record. The focus track of this release: ‘Crossroads’, a slow-burner that starts off with a tender piano and guitar ballad before eventually climaxing with a triumphant and emotional chorus.

The EP starts off with the title track ‘Song For The Underdog’ which features Annette’s warm vocals accompanied by crisp pop synths goodness. “I’ve got good news,” she announces, because things will get better eventually. The subsequent tracks feature her past singles ‘Gold’ and ‘Spring Will Always Come’. Both songs emphasize the importance of companionship and a positive never-say-die attitude in searching for peace in a troubled world. Produced by Colton Price and Grammy Award Winning producer Jerricho Scroggins (Tobymac’s album, Eye On It).
